Server installation is the deployment of server hardware and getting the suitable operating system on that hardware. Specifically, a clean installation needs deleting the previous operating system completely. Tape cartridges are stored in the tape library and dismounted and mounted from tape drives by using software running on the host systems or firmware running on the library.
